​​Event Details:

• Meeting Point: We’ll gather at Plužine Beach, the designated finish line for the swim.

• Transportation: A boat will transport participants from the finish line to the starting point, ensuring a seamless transition to the swim.

• Kayak Support: Each swimmer will be paired with a kayaker for safety and guidance. You can provide your own paddler and kayak (no additional fee), or for an extra charge, we can supply both. If you choose to share kayak support, you may book as a tandem-solo, where two swimmers share one paddler. However, swimmers must be of similar pace and stay side-by-side with their paddler throughout the swim.

• Safety Briefing: Prior to the swim, a comprehensive safety briefing will cover swim routes, safety protocols, and communication signals to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. All swimmers and paddlers must attend the briefing.

• Post-Swim Celebration: Upon finishing the swim, swimmers will be greeted with a glass of bubbles to celebrate their achievement, plus a BBQ lunch featuring a variety of meats, salads, and vegetarian options. Food and drinks will be available throughout the day, so each swimmer can enjoy a well-deserved treat as they complete their swim.

Cut-off Time and Conditions:

• Time Limit: There will be a 5-hour cut-off time for the swim.

• Exit from the Water: If a swimmer is more than 500 meters from the finish line after 5 hours, they will be pulled from the water for safety reasons. This ensures that everyone has the best experience and is able to complete the event within a safe timeframe.

Costs:

• Swimmer Fee: €270
  Includes swim participation, safety briefing, boat transport, boat and/or jetski support on course, additional kayak support on course, medal, swim cap, plus post-swim BBQ and bubbles.

• Swimmer Provides Own Paddler & Kayak: €10  - If you provide your own paddler and kayak, there is no additional charge other than €10 to cover the cost of lunch for the paddler.  Please note, your designated paddler must participate in the safety briefing. 

• Kayak Only (Swimmer Provides Own Paddler): €50
  If you provide your own paddler, we can supply the kayak for €50.

• Paddler and Kayak Supplied: €180 - Includes paddler and kayak equipment for the duration of the swim.

Optional Extra:

• Individually Tailored Training Plans:  €80 

As an optional extra, individually tailored training plans—including both pool and open water sessions—can be created for each swimmer, complemented by monthly Zoom calls to review progress and provide support.

Schedule:

• Arrival & Briefing: 7:30 AM

• Boat Departure to Starting Point: 8:00 AM

• Swim Start: 8:30 AM

• Post-Swim BBQ Lunch & Bubbles: Available upon finishing your swim

• Final Departure: The event will conclude around 2:30 PM to allow all participants to finish and enjoy the celebration.

 

Safety & Support:

Our experienced team prioritizes safety throughout the event. Boat and/or kayak support will be stationed along the swim route, and kayakers will be with you every stroke of the way to ensure you stay on course and receive any assistance you may need. The 5-hour cut-off time and the 500-meter rule are in place to ensure safety and allow all participants to enjoy their swim in a relaxed and manageable timeframe.
