Mljet lies in the southern Adriatic and is known for its protected national park, dense Mediterranean forests, saltwater lakes, secluded bays and exceptionally clear water. Away from Croatia's busier coastal destinations, the island offers a quieter setting for exploring the coastline from the water.
We offer just two private swimming tours to Mljet each year, making availability extremely limited. If you've been dreaming of swimming in one of Croatia's most beautiful and unspoiled island settings, this is a rare opportunity to experience Mljet with your own private group. Each itinerary is tailored around a selection of the island's best swimming locations, with plenty of time between swims to explore, relax and enjoy Mljet.
At Ocean Blue Swimming Tours, it's about more than simply swimming a set route — they’re a shared adventure. Susan, your host, is in the water with you, swimming alongside you from start to finish. Every swim is supported by kayak and stand-up paddle board rather than motorboats. This allows us to move quietly along the coastline and into secluded bays, without the noise, fumes or disruption of an engine.
For us, Mljet is about more than swimming in beautiful surroundings. It's about sharing an extraordinary island with your own group, with the time and freedom to explore it at your own pace.

Groups can choose between two options:
The Freedom Package gives you the flexibility to create your own Mljet experience, with the freedom to choose your preferred accommodation and dining arrangements to suit your budget and needs.
The Oasis Package is a complete swimming holiday, including stylish twin-share apartments with a private kitchen, bathroom, dining and lounge area, plus beautiful sea views. With breakfast provisions and picnic lunches included, everything you need for a relaxed and hassle-free stay on Mljet is taken care of.
Only two group bookings available during 2027
Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
Includes: 5 full days of swimming + arrival and departure days
Available dates: May, late September, or early October (please reach out if your preferred dates are outside of these months)
Group size: 14–16 swimmers (non-swimming partners are welcome)
Swim distances: Flexible, typically 2 swims each day, ranging from 1–3 km per swim, tailored to suit your group
Freedom Package
Price: €1,370 per person
Oasis Package
Price: €2,390 per person
