Having lived in Montenegro since 2022, I’ve discovered the hidden gems, quiet bays and breathtaking swim locations that make this country so special. I look forward to sharing these places with you.

We'll discover Montenegro from the water — swimming through crystal-clear bays, along dramatic coastlines and into hidden locations that few visitors ever experience.

At Ocean Blue Swimming, you don’t just follow the route — we swim it together. I join every group in the water, swimming alongside you and sharing each adventure from start to finish.

With kayak and stand-up paddle board support, we explore these spectacular locations without motorboats, engine noise or petrol fumes — allowing you to experience the peace, beauty and freedom of the Adriatic in its most natural form.

A DAY IN THE WATER

From dawn to dusk

Each day combines incredible swimming with the chance to discover Montenegro beyond the coastline — travelling between swims, villages and viewpoints in our unmistakable orange bus.

Morning
Meet at our designated pick-up location, then climb aboard our orange bus and set off for the day’s first swimming spot. As the road winds through Montenegro, the scenery becomes part of the experience before you even reach the water. Then it’s time to swim — surrounded by the country’s dramatic coastline and crystal-clear water.

Midday
After our morning swim, we’ll return to shore and head on to a charming coastal village or seaside spot. Enjoy a relaxed lunch, take time to wander and soak up the local atmosphere before we continue our journey.

Afternoon
Back on the bus, we’ll head to another spectacular swimming location, discovering a different stretch of Montenegro’s coastline along the way. Then it’s back into the water for another open-water adventure.

Evening
Each evening is yours to enjoy. Join an optional group dinner at one of our recommended local restaurants, share stories from the day, or head off and explore independently — the choice is yours.

Swimming Experience

Our swimming adventures are for swimmers who are comfortable swimming independently in open water and ready to explore a little further. You’ll need to be able to swim a minimum of 2 kilometres and have a basic level of open-water swimming competence.

Before accepting your booking, Susan will have a conversation with you about your swimming experience, abilities and confidence in the water. This gives her the opportunity to make sure the adventure is the right fit for you — and that you’re swimming with a group of people at a similar level and pace. Where appropriate, she may recommend a different group that better matches your experience and ability.

If you’re relatively new to open-water swimming or still building your confidence, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t join us. Susan can offer guidance before the trip to help you prepare and feel more confident in the water.

Once you’re there, you won’t be swimming alone. Susan will swim alongside the group throughout the adventure, offering encouragement, reassurance and support as you explore the open water.

You have two ways to enjoy your tour. Choose the Freedom Package if you prefer the freedom and flexibility to arrange your own accommodation, meals, and travel logistics, or choose the Splendido Package for a fully organised, hassle free experience with accommodation, breakfast, and airport transfers included.

Whichever option you choose, you will enjoy the same unforgettable Ocean Blue Swimming adventure — including guided swims, transport to swim locations, and personal support throughout your experience. Once you reserve your place, your swimming adventure is guaranteed to proceed — even if you are the only swimmer booked for that departure.

Freedom Package
